Stith Wiggs, agricultural specialist in plant pathology, entomology and microbiology, is the recipient of the staff 2025 Outstanding Achievement in Research Award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. He is a talented field technician, bringing exceptional skill and commitment to every project. He handles experimental plots with care, ensuring high-quality data and helping advance key research initiatives.
Wiggs has become one of the top field technicians in the college. His unparalleled technical skills, deep understanding of field crop research and ability to manage complex trials have been instrumental in advancing impactful agricultural research in Iowa and beyond. His initiative and ingenuity in improving field operations have saved countless hours of labor and enhanced the overall quality of the data.
