Through this tour you will learn more about our hands-on majors in Agricultural Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Agricultural Systems Technology, and Industrial Technology.
The AgEdS 450 Farm is the only student managed farm at a land grant university in the United States. The AgEdS 450 Farm allows students to be involved in everyday management decisions and practices of a typical central Iowa farm. This is a capstone course for students majoring in agricultural studies. On this tour, you will see the diversified farm and learn how to become involved.
Your tour will include an overview of the Swine Teaching Farm and the role the farm plays in undergraduate classes, labs, and extracurricular experiences.
