Meet Our Students

I have had the most amazing opportunities at Iowa State. I currently serve as World President of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS). It's both a challenging and an incredible opportunity.

I would advise every freshman to sign up to be a member of a learning community. It's a great way to meet people because you have classes, study groups and networking with your peers.

The opportunities at universities like Iowa State are everywhere; so get involved! Whether it's in the laboratory, on the athletic field, or within your residence hall, being involved will help you transition from high school to university.

What I enjoyed the most at Iowa State so far is forestry camp, it's a three week long trip that helps you learn about the different options for your forestry degree.

Another great part is how easy everyone in CALS is to work with. If you need help with class scheduling or anything like that there is always a person you can talk to who will help you or direct you to someone who can help.
