Why Iowa Sate University

I chose Iowa State University for college because of their strong science curriculum and opportunities for experiences abroad. I am a third year student in Biology and Global Resource Systems major.  I chose biology and global resource systems because together these majors serve as a strong foundation for my future pursuits in medicine and health policy. I plan to pursue a career in medicine and health policy.

Greatest Experience at ISU

My greatest experience has been serving the students at Iowa State University through the Government of the Student Body.  Writing and debating legislation to better the experience of students at Iowa State was a challenge that provided an opportunity to grow while being of service.

Impact from Iowa State

Iowa State has provided a wealth of opportunities to deepen my interests and develop my passions.  Through university student organizations and college departments, I have had opportunities to explore and serve in my backyard and internationally.
