Winter Storm Postpones Iowa State University Agriculture and Life Sciences Job Fair Until Thursday, Feb. 4

AMES, Iowa — The forecast of a winter storm for most of Iowa has forced the postponement of the Iowa State University Agriculture and Life Sciences Career Day until Thursday, Feb. 4.

The career fair was originally scheduled for Wednesday, with 110 organizations planning to recruit students.

“Because of the expected storm, I realize we may lose some participants, but I prefer to err on the side of caution for people traveling to the event,” said Mike Gaul, director of Career Services for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The job fair on Thursday, Feb. 4, will be in the same location in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is open to the public.

The organizations that had confirmed for this week’s career fair are listed on the Career Day website.
