SUBMIT COMMENTS ONLINE FOR ISU COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE RESEARCH PRIORITIES

December 10th, 2003

AMES, Iowa — Iowans with thoughts on future priorities for Iowa State University's agricultural research programs can submit their comments comments electronically.

"Identifying Priorities for Iowa's Future," the report developed for the College of Agriculture's review of its agricultural research program and related extension activities, is available online at http://www.ag.iastate.edu, in Web and PDF formats.

A Web link, "Submit your ideas on College research priorities," will lead to a form where comments can be submitted electronically.

Catherine Woteki, dean of the College of Agriculture, has asked for feedback on research priorities to help determine future directions for the Iowa Agriculture and Home Economics Experiment Station, the research program that has addressed needs of Iowans for more than 115 years.

Last month Dean Woteki hosted a statewide ICN meeting to present information on the Experiment Station, and to ask for input on how the college can better serve the state through its research and extension programs. About 200 people participated in the meeting.
