New Required PI Training Added to Learn@ISU

Regulatory agencies have recently indicated a need to document investigator familiarity with responsibilities associated with sponsored work. As a result, Iowa State University Finance Service Delivery and the Office of the Vice President for Research have developed an investigator responsibility overview training module. All Principal Investigators with active or new awards are required to complete the approximately 35-minute training. This training will enable Iowa State to demonstrate university efforts to ensure those receiving funds have a baseline understanding of their responsibilities, but more importantly, are aware of the resources available to navigate these requirements.

To complete the training: 
1. Log in to Learn@ISU; 
2. Click on Course Catalog; 
3.1 Scroll down the page to the Researcher Responsibility course catalog; Locate "Sponsored Funding Education" and click on the "Launch" link to start the course.

3.2 Copy/paste "Sponsored Funding Education" in the search bar, and click on the "Launch" link to start the course.
