What are the goals and mission of the Farm Operations Club?
The Farm Operations Club at Iowa State helps students prepare for agricultural careers while building connections with peers and industry professionals. Through speakers, trips and hands-on activities, members gain experiences beyond the classroom and form lasting friendships.
When and where does the club meet?
The club meets once a month, usually on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Ag 450 Farm, just outside campus. Updates are posted on our Instagram page (@isufarmopclub).
What opportunities does the club have for students to get involved? Leadership?
Members can participate in club activities and run for any of the 10 officer positions offered each year.
What are some chapter events, activities or fundraisers?
Events vary by year, but often include industry tours, philanthropy projects and social events.
Who can join the club? Are there any requirements?
All Iowa State students are welcome, though the club is especially popular with agricultural studies majors.
What makes the Farm Operations Club fun and unique?
It’s a laid-back club that mixes professional opportunities with a friendly atmosphere. Members meet great industry leaders, lifelong friends and leave with even greater memories.
