Faculty and staff are invited to help recognize the nearly 300 CALS students who will graduate Saturday, Dec. 21. The college convocation program, starting at 9:30 a.m. in C.Y. Stephens, will honor the students individually. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments served in the upper lobby.
The Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council will present awards to seniors:
Lea Hoefer, global resource systems and political science, for outstanding senior
Sarah G'Lynn Edwards, dairy science, for outstanding ambassador of agriculture
Qiaoyi Tong, agricultural business, economics and international agriculture, for academic achievement
Adriana Dubbelde, agricultural business, for leadership excellence
Stephen Mayne, agricultural studies, for distinguished service.
Hoefer also will be the CALS’ student marshal at the university commencement, escorted by Gail Nonnecke, university professor.
