Choose the major and select the courses to fit your career goals. Select from a variety of agricultural sciences and economics courses and combine them with communication courses ranging from journalism to management. After graduation students find careers in the food, agriculture and natural resources industry related to marketing, advertising, journalism, and extension.
The state offers the Iowa Student Loan Teacher Education Loan Forgiveness Program and will forgive up to $6,000 of qualifying educational loans for Iowa residents enrolled in the agricultural education endorsement program.
