Mark Licht, associate professor in agronomy, extension cropping systems specialist and co-director of the Iowa Soybean Research Center, is the recipient of the Raymond and Mary Baker Agronomic Excellence Award from the Department of Agronomy at Iowa State University. His research, extension and teaching program is focused on how to holistically manage Iowa cropping systems to achieve productivity, profitability and environmental goals.
The Raymond and Mary Baker Agronomic Excellence Award is given to young faculty members to support extension teaching and research activities in ways that will enhance the knowledge of and promote improved crop production methods.
