Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with Soil Health Partnership, Iowa Corn, Iowa Soybean Association, Adams County Farm Bureau and Practical Farmers of Iowa, will host a cover crops, grazing cover crops and soil health field day Tuesday, July 9th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Ray and Elaine Gaesser’s Farm near Corning.

Madrid Field Day, Aug. 8, to Showcase Conservation Practices

Thursday, August 8, 2019 - 6:00pm

Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and ISU Research and Demonstration Farms, will host a conservation practice showcase field day on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the ISU Uthe Farm near Madrid. Webinar: Iowa's Water Quality Challenge: Efforts and Progress in Reducing Agricultural Nitrogen and Phosphorus Loss

Iowa Learning Farms will host a webinar on Wednesday, April 29 at noon, about the work that is being done in Iowa to reduce losses of agricultural nitrogen and phosphorus, as well as the progress that has been made. Presenter Laurie Nowatzke, Measurement Coordinator for the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy at Iowa State University, will present findings from the forthcoming Annual Progress Report of the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy.
