Conservation Learning Group Manual Awarded Blue Ribbon for Conservation Manual

The Conservation Learning Group, a think tank-based organization at Iowa State University Extension and Outreach dedicated to addressing conservation and environmental challenges, has been recognized by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers with a 2021 Educational Aids Blue Ribbon for CLG’s Whole Farm Conservation Best Practices Manual.

Conservation on Tap Event Scheduled for Waukee

Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with the Des Moines Water Works and Conservation Learning Group, will host the second of three “Conservation on Tap” events, Thursday, Aug, 31, from 6-7 p.m. at Kinship Brewing Co. in Waukee. Hosts include Mark Licht, agronomy, and Matt Helmers, Iowa Nutrient Research Center.
