The Iowa Nutrient Research Center's Fall 2023 Seminar Series will Focus on the Future – Students & Their Contributions to Water Quality Research.
Each session includes a current and former graduate student who has been involved with water quality research at an Iowa university.
The series starts Sept. 13, 2022, and continues through Dec. 13, 2023, with two presenters each month.
Topic: Saturated riparian buffer designs: how this best management practice accelerates water quality benefits and career opportunities.
Presenter Tyler Groh, Assistant Research Professor and Watershed Management Extension Specialist at Penn State University, former postdoc for ISU's Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
Topic: Sediment and Nutrient Dynamics of Beaver Dam Complexes on the Des Moines Lobe, Iowa
