College Convocation to Honor Graduates

On Dec. 21 nearly 300 students will graduate and be recognized by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The convocation program, starting at 9:30 a.m. in C.Y. Stephens, will honor the students individually. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments served in the upper lobby.

The Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council will present awards to seniors:

The Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council will present awards to seniors:

Lea Hoefer, global resource systems and political science, for outstanding senior;

Sarah G'Lynn Edwards, dairy science, for outstanding ambassador of agriculture;

Qiaoyi Tong, agricultural business, economics and international agriculture, for academic achievement;

Adriana Dubbelde, agricultural business, for leadership excellence; and

Stephen Mayne, agricultural studies, for distinguished service.

Hoefer also will be the student marshal at the university commencement, escorted by Gail Nonnecke, university professor.Lea Hoefer, global resource systems and political science, for outstanding senior;
