Iowa State will host college rodeo teams from 13 schools Oct. 2 and 3 for the 46th annual Cyclone Stampede Rodeo. Performances will be at 7 p.m. at the Iowa State Rodeo Arena, two and one half miles south of the campus on State Avenue.

Runners and walkers are invited to participate in this year's "Hoofin' It For Alison" Memorial 5K Race on Sept. 19 at Brookside Park in Ames, Iowa. Hosted by the Iowa State Dairy Science Club, the race registration begins at 5 p.m. with the race starting promptly at 6 p.m. Registration costs are $20 per person or $15 per person in a group of 10 or more.
