Riley Wilgenbusch, a senior in agronomy and global resource systems, served as the director of the 23rd annual Iowa State Dance Marathon in January. The marathon raised more than $340,000 for the University of Iowa’s Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Mike Schrum finished his degree 22 years after he left. He says he did it to help his children and his co-workers understand the importance of education. Schrum, who graduated in December with a degree in agricultural education and studies, says he always planned to come back.
