Robin Habeger, development officer with the Iowa State Foundation, demonstrates training methods she uses with her dogs. Moses, a two year-old yellow Lab/Golden Retriever, is one of two search and rescue dogs owned by Habeger. During the training demostration she emphasizes the importance of body language, timing and play as a reward for working dogs. The students are in Anna Johnson's Domestic Animal Behavior and Well-being class. Johnson is an assistant professor in the animal science department.
