Jeff Thorson, animal caretaker in animal science, received the Merit Award for Achievement and Service.
Thorson has successfully supported research at the Beef Nutrition Research Center since 1983.
Thorson has managed the farm’s feed mill for 25 years and his attention to detail ensures that everything is done with precision and accuracy.
His diligence and support have maintained the integrity of the center’s research program and his dedication to quality has played a large role in hundreds of successful research trials at the farm.
