James Wright Receives the Outstanding Service in Student Recruitment and Retention Award

James Wright, associate teaching professor in agricultural and biosystems engineering, received the Outstanding Service in Student Recruitment and Retention Award.

Wright has provided outstanding service to undergraduate students through learning communities, clubs, recruitment activities and retention efforts. His philosophy outlines his goal to make a positive impact and contribution to student recruitment, retention and graduation. 

“As a faculty member, I embrace higher education as an opportunity to inspire, enlighten and empower students,” Wright said.

Wright brings industry and academic experience to the classroom, which students appreciate and relate to. Through his commitment to education, Wright positively impacts students and their undergraduate learning experience.
