Christen Burgett, associate teaching professor in animal science, is the recipient of the faculty 2026 Outstanding Achievement in Advising Award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. She views advising as more than a role. It is a responsibility and a privilege to help shape the next generation of leaders, scholars and professionals.
