Jennifer Bundy, assistant professor in animal science, is the recipient of the Outstanding Advisor Award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. Bundy advises 99 undergraduate students and serves as coordinator of the undergraduate academic advising program for animal science and dairy science. This program consists of more than 1,000 students, 27 faculty advisors and one staff transfer coordinator. She has also developed a variety of advisor tools and tutorials to assist advisors across the college.
Bundy’s research program focuses on the improvement of undergraduate support strategies. She is currently leading a project to enhance the transfer student experience and advance advising practices.
