2015 CALS Homecoming Activities

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and departments are making a "STATEment," for Homecoming 2015 on October 30-31. Join us for these great events taking place on campus for Homecoming weekend:

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Friday, October 30
Open House, Curtiss Hall

3-5 p.m.

Join the college in Curtiss Hall to celebrate Cyclone Homecoming 2015! Alumni and friends are invited to "Make a STATEment" by touring the Curtiss Hall rennovations, and view videos featuring innovative research and inspirational messages from college programs this past year. Enjoy complimentary popcorn, and visit with fellow alums and CALS faculty, staff and students.

Chuckwagon Breakfast, Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center
8 a.m.

Program, 8:15 a.m. Breakfast

Enjoy the breakfast, program and tour the Jeff and Deb Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center. The facility is located at 2516 Mortensen Road in Ames (across from Towers residence halls, and near the location of the old ISU dairy farm).

ISU Dairy Science Club Homecoming Tailgate, Jack Trice Stadium, Tent Row (in red and yellow striped tents)

12-6 p.m.

ISU Dairy Science club members, alumni and family are welcome to attend. Hickory Park BBQ and water will be provided complimentary to all guests.

Agricultural Business Breakfast, ISU Memorial Union
8:30-11 a.m.

Agricultural business alumni and friends are invited to attend the annual “Ag Business Breakfast.” Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Pioneer Room in the ISU Memorial Union. The Pioneer Room is located on the third floor of the Memorial Union. Parking is available in the Memorial Union Parking Ramp.

Breakfast begins at 9 a.m., with a short program taking place at 10 a.m.

5 p.m. Cocktail Hour, 6 p.m. Dinner

All alumni and friends of the department are welcome to attend the annual banquet honoring FSHN faculty, student and alumni award winners. Registration is required.

Saturday, October 31
FSHN Tailgate and Homecoming Football Game, Jack Trice Stadium
3 p.m.
Cheer on the Cyclones to a victory at the FSHN tailgate, and join the department for the ISU vs. Texas football game. Registration is required.
