Outstanding College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Students Earn Bob Jolly Entrepreneurship Scholarship

AMES, Iowa — Two Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences students have been awarded the 2010 Bob Jolly Entrepreneurship Scholarship. Jared Achen and Clark Dolch were selected to receive the $1,500 awards based on their interest and aptitude for entrepreneurship as well as for their involvement in the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative's programs. Achen is a junior majoring in agricultural business with a minor in agricultural systems technology from Wayland. Dolch is a junior in agricultural business from Elliott. Both recipients have been involved in the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative's internship program. The Bob Jolly Entrepreneurship Scholarship has been endowed by Roger and Connie Underwood of Ames. The scholarship reflects the Underwood's belief in introducing entrepreneurship and its opportunities to undergraduate students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. ##
