CRUISING FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Last fall, the Curtiss Cruisers -- David Acker, International Agriculture Programs, Dennis Keeney, Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, and Colin Scanes, executive associate dean -- placed third in the team division of the PATH (Prostate Awareness Trot for Health) Run in Des Moines. The 5K run, directed by Don Graves, biochemistry & biophysics, raises awareness and research funds for control of prostate cancer. Acker won his age division.
