Young Intern Follows Ecology Passion

Ansley Watkins is from Mabelton, Goergia and is homeschooled. Watkins is working with Fred Janzen, an ecology, evolution and organismal biology professor, researching temperature dependent sex determination in turtles. Watkins says the most interesting part of her research is doing fieldwork because she sees herself having a future in this field. Watkin’s dream is to be a wildlife veterinarian at a national park.
