Science With Practice Celebrates 10 Years of Mentoring Students

Learning, earning credits and getting paid are what make the Science With Practice program at Iowa State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences a success. The program started 10 years ago as an idea to help students with college costs. Now almost 500 students have gone through experiential learning and work program. Each semester students present what they've learned in a poster presentation and this fall's event will be held Dec. 9 in Kildee Hall. Sponsors of the program include the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Agricultural Endowment Board and Van Wert Family Endowment.
