AgGrad Snapchat Takeover

On March 23, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) was 1 of 20 colleges and universities featured by AgGrad as part of their "March Ag-Ness" promotion on Snapchat.

AgGrad is an organization that promotes career opportunities in agriculture through social media platforms. The March Ag-Ness campaign allowed colleges and universities to generate AgGrad's Snapchat content for one day to feature programs, faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Snapchat, a social media application for smartphone users, allows individuals and organizations to create and follow Snapchat "stories," which include photos and videos shared within a 24-hour period.

Marcus Jansen, junior in horticulture, served as the college host during the takeover. Jansen is a CALS Ambassador and vice-president of CALS Student Council. A member of Alpha Zeta and the Horticulture Club, Jansen also serves as a teaching assistant in the department of horticulture.
